The bottom line in any investment you make in your business is this: Will the cost you incur save you time, save you money, make you money, or bring new efficiencies to your operation?
If an investment can bring you just one of those four benefits, you would probably do it. Two? Definitely. Three? Well, you get the idea.
When a single investment can bring you all four of these benefits—save time, save money, make money, improve efficiency — it falls into the “no brainer” category.
So the real question is not whether or not your organization should become a member of the International Council of Air Shows. The real question is: Why hasn’t your organization already joined ICAS?
ICAS was formed in 1967 to represent and protect the interests of air show professionals throughout North America. Since then, we’ve grown from an organization of six air shows scattered throughout the United States to a robust trade association with more than 850 members and an annual convention that attracts 1,700 air show professionals from all over the world.
We invite you to look through the Benefits of Membership to get an overview of what you will receive through your ICAS membership. Once you have, reconsider this “return on investment” question. Like so many other air show professionals, we think you’ll find that your modest investment will be justified many times over.
