| At this year's ICAS Convention, we are fortunate to welcome two representatives from the Swiss air show community. In the first half of this session, Colonel Ian Logan, a pilot in the Swiss Air Force and the principal organizer of this year's air show celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Swiss Air Force, will discuss the unique nature of this ten-day event, including its planning, the unusual performance schedule, and the groundbreaking effort undertaken by show organizers to make the event eco-friendly. In the second half of the session, Breitling Jet Team lead Jacques Bothelin (who is, admittedly, French, but represents Breitling, a Swiss watch manufacturer) will discuss the unique challenges faced by the team when they traveled to the Far East in 2013. In addition to introducing you to the team as they prepare for their 2015 tour in North America, this extraordinarily interesting presentation will also provide uncommon insight on the impact that air show performances can have on our audiences. |
