| If the 2012 and 2013 air show seasons taught us nothing else, it is that our industry has entered a new era in the planning and execution of open houses/air shows on U.S. military installations. Budgetary constraints, political impasses and general uncertainty now surround events that had been, not so long ago, a cornerstone of our air show industry. In this session, which will be part presentation and part discussion, we will look at possible new approaches to conducting military open houses...approaches that might help retain these important events at military bases throughout the country. |
