For too many, learning how to fly in the air show environment is a dangerous game of trial and error. In this session, a former CF-18 demonstration pilot and team lead for the Canadian Snowbirds will digest both the science and art of low-level aerobatics into a two-hour presentation that will help both new and veteran pilots better understand the demanding environment in which air show flying takes place. Developed initially as a program for low-level fighter attack pilots and adapted to the unique demands of the low-level air show flying environment, the session will provide pilots with the analytical tools to assess their own maneuvers as they develop their performance sequence and begin to fly their low-level routines.
