| Although this session will be moderated by two veteran event organizers, the substance of the discussion will be driven by you and the other roundtable participants. The conversation will focus on three difficult policy issues: 1) who is and who is NOT media, and how does the difference impact your media credentialing efforts; 2) what should an air show's policy be on refunding money in the event of bad weather or outright cancellation; and 3) how does a show decide when an admission ticket price increase is needed, and what are the mechanics and politics of introducing that change. Come prepared to both ask AND answer questions. And don't be surprised if the discussion also grows to include other difficult policy-related issues. |
