In this first part of a two-part maintenance discussion, Mike Millard, Principal Maintenance Inspector from the FAA's Cincinnati FSDO, will discuss a wide variety of air show maintenance-related issues and their regulatory impact. He will also share the FAA's insight into the maintenance-related contributing factors of several air show incidents and accidents. Developed to help you learn from the mistakes and oversights made by other air show professionals, this session is a first-of-its-kind for the ICAS Convention and a "can't miss" event for anybody with maintenance responsibilities for an air show performer's aircraft.
