In the first of two sessions on economic impact analysis, two college professors will introduce you to the basic concepts of economic impact analysis, including the mechanics of conducting an economic impact study, the data used to generate accurate and useful information on the overall economic impact of an air show or open house, and how you can use information from an economic impact study to promote your event and solidify its position within your community. Dr. Warnick and Dr. Bojanic recently completed work on two different economic impact studies for the Great New England Air Show and the Westfield International Air Show, both in Massachusetts.
