| The impact of sequestration in 2013 and 2014 may well be the single most damaging event in the 100-year history of air shows in the United States. From jet team and single-ship demos to jump teams and static display aircraft to the cancellation of every military open house at every U.S. military base in the world, air shows received a disproportionate share of the damage inflicted by sequestration in 2013. And, sadly, that impact continues. In this session, we will discuss issues related to sequestration. In the first segment, we will review and discuss the damage done - and still being done - by sequestration. During the last half hour, we'll look at strategies, tactics and ideas to mitigate the impact of sequestration, both now and in the future.
