| Drawing on a wide range of past accidents, incidents and near misses, this year's Air Show Performer Safety Stand-Down will once again address general trends and mistakes that have been made on more than one occasion. The session will use data collected by ICAS to identify issues and problems that have been the cause or contributing factor to accidents and incidents on multiple occasions. This year's Stand-Down will include some analysis of recent accidents, but principally as they represent a continuation of larger trends and recurring problems. As always, for the consideration of the performers and to encourage open and frank discussion, we ask that non-performers not attend this session. |
