Intel Named Title Sponsor of Oregon Int'l Air Show

HILLSBORO, Ore. – Oregon International Air Show officials announced today that Intel Corporation has agreed to become the title sponsor of the event, which is held annually at Hillsboro Airport. The show's official title now becomes the Intel Oregon International Air Show Presented by Standard TV & Appliance. Standard TV & Appliance will again be the show's presenting sponsor. The United States Navy Blue Angels will headline the 2015 show, which takes place July 17 - 19.


"Intel has a huge presence in Oregon and participates in various activities aimed at supporting local communities. We have been associated with the Oregon International Air Show in the past and are proud to be the title sponsor of the event this year," said Doug Fisher, Intel Senior Vice President and General Manager of Software and Services Group. "The Intel Oregon International Air Show has a strong history of presenting amazing performances, engaging Oregonians with aviation, technology and STEM programs, and supporting the nonprofit organizations that give back to our community."

The Intel Oregon International Air Show Presented by Standard TV & Appliance is held annually at the Hillsboro Airport. Net proceeds from the event are returned to the community through donations to local charities and non-profits. Since 1988, the Air Show has donated more than $1.4 million to 475 organizations. The show also hosts 800 special needs children and adults each year, providing free admission and lunch.
