Koontz, Alabama Boys Help Celebrate 75 Years of Piper Cubs | August 10th, 2012 |
| To help celebrate the 75th anniversary of the legendary Piper Cub, Greg Koontz and his Alabama Boys will be the featured performers at three separate air shows during 2012: Sun ‘n Fun and the Sentimental Journey Fly-In earlier this season, and EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. A self-professed “Cub Nut,” Koontz restored a Cub while still in high school and has been flying them at air shows since he first started in the business in 1974. | |
