From Las Vegas, Charlottesville and Alexandria to San Bernadino, Orlando and Boston, domestic terrorism and security incidents have become both more frequent and less predictable in just the last several years. In this panel discussion session, ICAS has gathered a wide range of subject matter experts from both within and outside the air show community to discuss expert perspective on the current threat climate, how to most effectively interface with local and national law enforcement officials, the air show implications of the October mass-shooting incident in Las Vegas, developing a contingency plan in the event that key staff or decision makers are not available following a security incident, the unique requirements of air show security on a military base, and practical, actionable information on what to do if your show experiences an attack or other security incident.
